Manuel Cabañas

Manuel serves as Chief Supply Chain Officer at Suntory Global Spirits. He is responsible for managing all aspects of the global supply chain, including the manufacturing and distribution associated with more than 15 distilleries and bottling plants in North America, Mexico, the UK, Spain and India, research and development, quality and sourcing.
 

Manuel joined the company in 2000 and has progressed through a series of leadership roles spanning manufacturing, engineering, quality and operations. He brings a global mindset to our team. After joining Suntory Global Spirits as a Distillery Director in Spain, he has since led operations across Spain, Austria, India and the international region.

Most recently, Manuel served as Vice President of Global Manufacturing, overseeing work to strengthen global quality standards, improve environmental sustainability, advance engineering capabilities across our manufacturing network, and foster a culture centered on caring for people and maintaining the highest standards of safety.

Manuel is passionate about building strong organizations and believes that sustainable business results are achieved when strategic clarity, disciplined execution, and people leadership come together. Born and raised in Spain, he holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from The University of Salamanca and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2026. He currently lives in New York City with his wife and children.
