Carol Robert is President, International at Suntory Global Spirits and serves on the company’s Executive Leadership Team. She leads the company’s International business across four clusters - Great Britain & Ireland, Iberia, Central, Northern & Eastern Europe, and Global Travel Retail & Middle East & Africa - driving growth, execution and continued premiumization of the portfolio.

 

Carol brings more than 20 years of commercial, operational and marketing leadership across Europe and the United States. Most recently, she served as Managing Director, Ready-To-Drink (RTD) US at Suntory Global Spirits, where she led the strategy, innovation and cross-functional execution of the RTD portfolio, delivering strong growth and shaping the long-term roadmap for the business. Prior to this, she was Chief Operating Officer, Great Britain & Ireland at Suntory Beverage & Food Europe, where she led a £650M business and delivered sustained topline and operating income growth.

 

Earlier in her career, Carol held a number of senior leadership roles across Europe, including General Manager for Benelux and Marketing Director for Great Britain & Ireland. She began her career at Kimberly-Clark, where she spent more than 10 years across marketing, sales and category management roles, including leadership of the Andrex brand and the household and baby £1bn retail value category. She also held senior commercial marketing roles at GSK.

 

Carol holds a degree in International Business & Modern Languages from the University of Strathclyde and is fluent in French and Spanish. She is based in London.

 

Carol lives with her husband and their three children.
