Growing up surrounded by the dedication of his grandfather, mother and father at Tequila Sauza, Rodrigo absorbed invaluable lessons that continue to guide him today.

"I remember the passion and dedication they put into their work. I’ve carried forward many of their lessons into my career and personal life, including respect, responsibility and humility.”

Throughout his extensive career, Rodrigo has embraced every challenge as an opportunity for growth. What’s most important for Rodrigo to tackle these challenges? Teamwork.

"Tequila Sauza has always been characterized by change and innovation. Teamwork is of utmost importance to me - learning from my peers and proactively adopting new technology have been essential to my growth. We have built robust operational systems at Sauza, and as a team, we are considered leaders in the tequila industry today.”

In honoring his family's legacy while embracing modern ideas, Rodrigo’s desire to leave a mark in both the company and the industry rings just as strong as his predecessors. His advice for those in the industry?

"It’s a great commitment and responsibility to leave a legacy. I strive to leave my mark or a grain of sand through continuous improvement. Live with passion every day, set goals, be open to constant change and prepare yourself personally and professionally.”
